Would have preferred to email rather than review. Stood waiting to be seated and were ignored. Had to approach waitress. Taken upstairs and further ignored. Asked to be served. Response: ‘ ok, we are busy , but I will take your order now’ we walked out. Expect a delay, but expect customer service. A smile, eye contact, the words: sorry for the wait, will be with you soon.’ We felt we were an inconvenience the moment we stepped inside.
Service was great and the mussels were pretty tasty
The worst restaurant in the area. No service at all, they didn’t even look at us. After waiting 10 minutes, we gave up and left.
Yeah not bad
Weirdest cream tea ever, scone wasn't a scone, was hard and crunchy inside and over cooked. Far from a traditional Cornish cream tea.
Food was very good and loafs of it. Friendly staff and all the food was cooked to perfection
So refreshing to find a place that offers to replace items taken off your meal (e.g. vegan option) with something you can eat. Cheese was replaced by an extra portion of something else in the dish, of my choice. It always annoys me that I have to pay for stuff I can’t eat - but not here. Lovely, accommodating staff, great food and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
